大湘乡和家埠王氏，六修族谱倡议

各位宗亲:

经与几位热心修谱者商议，向各位宗亲提出如下倡议，请与指正与响应。

1、国盛修史，族旺修谱，自古亦然。因有先祖的修谱，我们生者才知道我们的来处。又因历史的原因，祖先的许多优秀传统几近失传，所以我们活在当下者应思考为子孙后人留下点什么。族谱就是留给后人最好的精神财富，也是族人生生不息的血脉纽带。我族距1945年五修族谱已73年，所以修谱迫在眉睫，再过若干年，想修也修不成了。望我族宗亲献计献策，大力支持。

2、提议在四月底召开代表会议，成立修谱筹备委员会，选出常务理事。请热心族人报名参加。

3、筹委会成立后，正式进入修谱工作程序，及时发布修谱进程。

4、请各位宗亲广为宣传发动，并做好近亲的信息采集工作。
